Fellow Rotarians,

It was nearly 18 months ago when our club’s Program’s Committee tapped the Cabrillo Pavilion as a location for a site visit. Alas, global events got in the way.

It’s finally happening. The Pavilion opens its doors to us this Friday, Oct. 15, for a presentation by Jill Zachary, director, Santa Barbara Parks & Recreation. There we will enjoy a VIP behind-the-scenes tour and learn about the history of this treasured Santa Barbara landmark, including a first-hand look into the restoration process. The meeting will be held downstairs on the east (Bird Refuge) side of the building). Enter from the parking lot on that side—a paid lot so remember to pay for parking. Click here to register.

Onward, future site visits in the works include the SB Museum of Natural History and The Crafter’s Library. Watch your email and visit our website for updates and see you at Rotary.

In service,

Matt
