It was so nice to see all our tables filled today. We had 31 attendees today. I personally loved seeing several members I have not seen in a long time. Great to see you Marlee and Michael.
Now I have a very special appeal to our entire membership. It is that time of year when we need to select a President nominee for the 2024-2025 Rotary year. That’s July 1, 2024-June 30, 2025. We need someone that wants to lead the club after Garrett’s inevitable great year next year. Our club has NEVER repeated a presidency and we want to keep that streak alive and well. I am asking all of you that have never been President before to seriously consider it. I can say this has been an absolute honor for me to be the club President this year. Remember this, we are the original club in our district. All another clubs in our district have a direct lineage to our club.
I assure you all I am going to do everything within my power in my remaining months as the club President to keep building our attendance and getting our members re-engaged after the long darkness of Covid. Today was a great reminder that we are going in the right direction but we still have much work to do.
Very, very special thank you to Steve Baker for doing such an incredible job as our membership chair. Steve is PERFECT in that role.
I hope all of you and your loved ones have an outstanding Thanksgiving. Just know this. When I sit at my table and give thanks for all I have a big part of that is our club. I love our time together and am thankful for you all.
