Dear Fellow Rotarians,
At our last meeting, we welcomed Linda Cole from African Women Rising to talk about work in Uganda to help women recover from war. We also met Staci Hendricks from Peabody Charter School, who received our final Teacher Recognition Award of the year. It was a heartwarming and inspiring meeting.
This Friday we can look forward to officially inducting new members to our club! Please join us on Zoom to celebrate Andrew Hicks, Greg Knowles, and Judie Lugo from the Police Activities League (corporate membership), as they become Rotarians!
This week our speaker is Max Tyler from the Santa Cruz Island Foundation. Max will tell us about the work of the Foundation, which includes efforts to collect, maintain, and catalogue items of interest to Santa Cruz Island and other Channel Islands. It should be a very interesting presentation!
