Fellow Rotarians,

Happy New Year! Let’s talk about doing some good in 2022. Thanks to sound fiduciary stewardship by RCSB members past and present, our Club Foundation Endowment is closing in on $800,000—up from $530,000 in June 2020.

Since 1987 the Foundation has donated over $1.5 million to over 120 organizations in support of programs designed to improve the quality of life for youth, seniors, and the disadvantaged. We have also contributed to the vibrancy of the Santa Barbara community by helping to fund organizations that provide art, music, theater, school programs, and scholarships.

One of our goals this year was to revisit the Foundation grants process to involve more member input into where we want to make a difference this year.

You’re invited to join the conversation at our Jan. 7 Club meeting (at noon via Zoom) featuring a presentation by Foundation Board Chair Jim Armstrong.

We will be breaking into groups to capture your ideas and input.

In service,
